1 - Initial introduction
1.1 By making a purchase with us, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
1.2 It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are fully aware of all of these terms and conditions when making a purchase with Time Tutelary
1.3 These terms and conditions can be altered at any time, so you should read them every time you make a purchase on this website.
2 - Payment
2.1 Payment is taken when the order is processed. If you wish to cancel an order after this, simply let us know and we will refund the amount in full. Please see Returns Policy
2.2 When using Paypal to pay, your payment will be instant. If an item is cancelled before it is despatched, and it has been charged it will be refunded.
3 - The Contract of Sale
3.1 On occasion, an item may be mispriced. If you purchase a mispriced item, we reserve the right to cancel the contract and relist the product at the correct price.
3.2 We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time prior to delivery, for any reason. No contract of sales exists until your order is verified by our automated algorithms or by a member of staff. From there on, validity and verification must take place before the contract of sale exists.
3.3 The contract made between us through any transaction is governed by the laws of England, using only the English language.
4 - Privacy
4.1 Time Tutelary only stores necessary information required to make a purchase. Your credit card information is NOT stored by us and is always processed across a secure server, using Sagepay merchant services. SagePay, and is recognised as one of the most secure and reliable payment providers in the world.
4.2 Time Tutelary does not sell or lease any of your personal information. All information left with time Tutelary is entirely confidential.
5 - Security
5.1 Your IP is logged when placing an order. This is for reasons of fraud protection. All orders are scanned strictly for fraud by our fraud department before they are shipped. If you specify a different shipping address to the billing address, then your order may take longer as we have to perform the necessary checks. Fraudulent or suspicious orders may be disclosed to the appropriate authorities on their legal request.
5.2 Fraudulent Order Notification
If we are notified by the Merchant Payment Provider that an order has a risk of being fraudulent, the order will be refunded immediately without question, and an email will be sent to the email address provided by the buyer notifying them of the same.
6 - Delivery & Delivery Charges
6.1. Our standard courier is Hermes and delivery times are over working days and can take between 48 -72 hour delivery service.
6.2 You have the option to upgrade to Next Working Day Delivery before 1pm at the checkout. This is chargeable. This service is subject to UK Mainland orders only, the order being received on a working day and before 12 noon on the day of order.
6.3 Free of charge deliveries are to UK mainland only. There may be a surcharge to other destinations. Delivery times to non UK mainland may differ.
6.4 Although we endeavour to strictly adhere to a delivery estimate, during extremely busy periods it may not be possible to meet these deadlines. Should this happen, you have the right to either continue with the order or cancel it.
6.5 If there are any problems with the delivery itself, the discrepancy must first be reported to us and we will confirm this with the courier. We will determine if a delivery was late, lost or any other reason before any action can be taken.
In most cases, the first time we hear about a delivery issue is when you report this to us, so we ask that you be patient with us during this period as some claims for losses and damages can take up to 28 days.
**If you expedite the shipping service at checkout, please note that the next day delivery service is subject to UK mainland orders only, and excludes Islands and Highlands of Scotland, Channel Islands, and Northern Ireland. European country orders will usually be dispatched through Fedex.
6.6 Delayed or Lost Parcels
Time Tutelary uses several courier services for its deliveries. This is to allow us to keep our costs down for you but also for reliability and convenience. Unfortunately, as with all courier services, there are very rare circumstances where parcels do not arrive within the agreed timescale or they are lost completely. Under these circumstances, we endeavour to ensure that the item or replacement is delivered to you as soon as possible. The first step upon being advised a delivery is late or not received is for us to contact the courier service and attempt to locate your parcel, and we ask for your patience during this time.
In the case of lost items, we cannot refund an order or send out a replacement order, until the parcel is confirmed as lost. This must be acknowledged by the courier company, and by you, the buyer, and at this point the buyer will need to complete a Non Receipt of Goods Disclosure Form.
We ask that you be patient with us during this period as some claims for losses and damages can take up to 28 days.
6.7 In the case of a parcel being signed for and a delivery confirmation being available on the courier's website, if the buyer denies receiving the package, this is called a Denial of Receipt. Under these circumstances, we must contact the courier company to confirm the delivery details, and will in turn contact the buyer to ask for a written document to be completed to confirm that the parcel has not been received. These circumstances must be mediated by the courier service and we cannot take action until it has been confirmed whether or not the parcel was received by the buyer.
6.8 Most orders shipped by Time Tutelary require a signature upon delivery. Parcels shipped on this basis cannot be left without signatures. If you miss the delivery person, in most cases a card will be left to give you instructions to either arrange a redelivery or to collect it from your local sorting office / delivery depot. We appreciate that in some cases, cards may not be left or may be considered junk mail and disposed of by mistake. We ask that you contact us as soon as you realise your delivery is overdue so that we can resolve this for you.
If you specifically request that we leave an item in an area that does not require any signature, we are unable to accept any claims for non delivery.
6.9 A next working day delivery on this platform is subject to our order processing system receiving the order on a working day, and before our cut off of 1pm. Next working day delivery is for mainland UK only, and excludes Highlands of Scotland, and other remote areas.
*** Time Tutelary is a family run business and operates during working hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
It is important to note that we are closed on Weekends, on all UK Public Holidays and between 24th December thru to the 2nd January each year. Orders are not processed during these periods of closure.
6.10 Please note that if a delivery is in a multiple occupation building, anyone in the building is allowed to sign the parcel to confirm its receipt. Courier Services consider an item as delivered once a signature at the designated address is achieved. It is your responsibility to ensure that the recipient is at the delivery address, or to obtain the delivered parcel from the signee.
6.11 If an item is returned to us undelivered because it was not collected or received by the recipient, we offer to re-despatch your order one time at no extra charge. If it is undelivered again, we reserve the right to charge delivery charges for subsequent deliveries. If a delivery is failed, it is the customer's responsibility to contact the local sorting office to organise a redelivery or collection.
6.12 When receiving your order, you should inspect the packaging to ensure that it has not been tampered with in any way. If it does appear to be tampered with, you should refuse delivery. If the delivery is accepted and signed for, you will have entered into a contract to accept the item in its delivered state and, as such, we cannot assume liability for any subsequent issues surrounding loss or damage.
6.13 For deliveries to EU Member states other than the UK we will deliver these products to you at the addresses provided.
Most orders for delivery within the UK are subject to Free Shipping, excluding Islands and Highlands of Scotland, Channel Islands, and Northern Ireland.
All orders for delivery in the EU up to 499.00 GBP will incur a shipping charge of 19.99 GBP, charged to the buyer in EURO at the exchange rate set by this website
All orders for delivery in the EU with a value over 500.00 GBP are subject to Free Shipping
All USA / Canada orders will incur a shipping charge of 49.99 GBP, charged to the buyer in the U$D at the exchange rate set by this website
7 - Prices
7.1 All prices are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) charged at the current UK rate based.
7.2 All manufacturers generally have price increases throughout the year due to increases in manufacturing costs and inflation. While we try to absorb as much of these costs ourselves, these price increases are unavoidable.
7.4 We do not have control over prices listed on external sites, including Google cached listings, shopping feeds or any other site. We are not obliged to provide products for any price which is listed on an external site. We do not have control of the rate at which search engines crawl our site, and therefore the information in the search results may not be indicative of up to date prices.
8 - Returns and the Cooling Off Period
At Time Tutelary we make every effort to describe and display every product as realistically as possible. We also understand that sometimes items you receive are not quite as you expected.
8.1 Cooling-off period for online goods
If your item was bought online, over the phone or by mail order, as a customer you have consumer returns rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. The Consumer Contracts Regulations gives you a cancellation period that starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify the retailer that you'd like to cancel your order to return the goods to them.
Your 30 day right to return. You have the legal right to a refund if you return your faulty good within 30 days of receiving it.
Your consumer returns rights after 30 days.If you don't reject the goods within the first 30 days, and find a fault within the first six months of possessing your faulty goods, you'll need to give the retailer a chance to make a repair or replacement. If that's unsuccessful, you can then ask for a refund.
After six months. After the first six months, the burden of proof switches to you to prove the fault you've found was present at the time you purchased the goods in store or first took ownership of it if you bought it online.
The law does not detail how consumers can prove a fault was present at purchase, which can make it problematic when you’re asked to do so.
8.2 Conditions for the return of items
The item(s) must be in unworn, unused and in the same condition in which they were received. Items must be returned with all the original packaging, instructions, guarantee and any extras. Items of jewellery such as earrings, or other items of pierced jewellery cannot be returned unless items are found to have manufacturing faults. If any visual defect is found with the item(s) upon arrival, you must notify us within 48 hours.
**All items must be returned along with a cover note detailing the reason for the return, the full name and address on the order, and its very important for us that you make reference your original order no'.** You should make sure that the item is packaged extremely well to avoid any damage in transit. Items that are lost or damaged in transit will not be considered for a refund.
If you wish to exchange a purchase for another item, please just return your undesired item for a refund and order a new item.

If you have specifically upgraded your shipping options, (e.g. paid extra for 9am or upgraded courier delivery), this additional amount is not refundable.
When returning any item, we recommend you used a tracked service.
When we receive the item, our returns department will confirm that everything is present and in its original condition to ensure its eligibility for refund. We process refunds as quickly as possible. We process most refunds within 3-5 days, but please allow up to a maximum of 14 days for the money to reach your account. It rarely takes this long but can happen sometimes for reasons such as bank delays or errors.Summary
Most, but not all, online orders can be cancelled, for example bespoke or personalised items cannot be cancelled.
Your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and doesn't end until 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
Return your order as soon as possible - but don't forget to get proof of postage.
If a visual defect is found with the item(s) on arrival (out of the box), you must notify us within 24 hours.

10.1 Risk of loss and damage of products is assumed by you from the moment the product(s) are delivered.

11.1 All product weights and dimensions are approximate. We do not accept any liability should any product description, weight or dimensions be slightly inaccurate
12 - Promo Codes & Offers
Offers do not include a watch unless otherwise stated.
Offers are for a limited time only and only available whilst present stocks last. All offers can be retracted and cancelled by the seller at any time.
In most cases, offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
As part of our environmental responsibility we adhere to the EU WEEE regulations. If, having purchased an electronic item from ourselves, you wish to return your unused electronic goods, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide instructions to do so. Under the regulations, we will compensate you for your return postage up to a reasonable level and dispose of the waste electrical item accordingly. As goods are waste, it is not necessary to insure items returned to us under the regulations. All items returned to us are recorded and disposed of accordingly.
Please note that we can only accept items back under this policy which are similar to that which is purchased. e.g. If you purchase a watch, you may return one watch to us to be disposed under the WEEE regulations.
Please note that it is mandatory that prior contact with us is established before any WEEE items are returned to us.
This only applies to electronic items and does not apply to nonelectrical goods such as jewellery.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
Recycling reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Time Tutelary is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
Customers must return their like-for-like WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
